Star Wars MMO Next Expansion Coming This Fall

  • The next expansion for BioWare's Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO continues to be announced. Due out this fall is Knights from the Eternal Throne. Players should be expecting "more of BioWare's cinematic storytelling," together with some "exciting new game features," in line with SWTOR Credits Eurogamer.The Old Republic launched in December 2011, meaning it's approaching its five-year anniversary. BioWare created a video to celebrate the milestone, plus in it, BioWare reveals players are inventing 87 million characters.Fifty-three percent play for the Light side, while 47 percent have aligned with all the Dark side, in line with BioWare.
    Together, players have spent 1.5 billion hours in the action. Previous expansions for The Old Republic included Rise from the Hutt Cartel, Galactic Starfighter, Galactic Strongholds, Shadow of Revan, and also the multi-part Knights from Buy SWTOR Credits the Fallen Empire.To celebrate the forthcoming launch of Knights on the Eternal Throne, BioWare made Knights in the Fallen Empire's first chapter free. The Old Republic debuted being a subscription-based MMO, but switched into a free-to-play model in November 2012, just one year after launch.
